To help guide you through your investment journey we have summarised the answers to some of the most common questions below.
Am I investing in Clifford Morton?
No, Clifford Morton only acts as an introducer. We work with our clients to present a range of options from individual investment providers. If you choose to invest, the agreement will be between you and the provider.
How do I get started?
It’s very simple. The quickest way to get started is to fill out the contact form below and a member of the Clifford Morton investments team will give you a call.
Can I invest jointly?
Yes. Although it is specific to the product you are investing in, almost all of the providers we work with will allow for joint investing.
Is there a minimum investment?
Every investment product will have a different ‘entry point’ – this is the term which refers to the minimum investment. The typical entry point for most investments we introduce clients to is £10,000.
Is there a minimum or maximum timescale for investments?
The investments introduced by Clifford Morton are considered short to medium term. Typically this means that an investment could range from one year to three years, although in some cases it may be possible to invest for longer.
When will interest begin to accrue on my investment?
Interest will begin accruing on your investment as soon as your funds clear with the product holder or the account is opened for your investment. The time for this will vary from product to product but usually takes a matter of days.
When are interest payments made on my investment?
Each investment will stipulate the schedule for when interest will be paid to investors. At Clifford Morton we have access to investment products which pay interest either; Monthly, Quarterly, biannually as well as at the end of the investment cycle. For further information please speak with our consultants.
What security protects my investment?
Security varies on each investment and is specific to that product. Typically an investment will have multiple levels of security such as being asset-backed, legal charges and even insurance.
Do I need to qualify before I invest?
Yes, we follow a strict guideline and a robust vetting system before anyone is put forward for an investment. Please speak to our consultants before you do anything.
